Impact Brantley went 0-for-1 to begin Saturday's contest, but he was replaced in left field in the top of the fourth inning. The specifics of the left fielder's injury aren't yet clear.

Impact Rodriguez landed on the 7-day minor-league injured list with a lat strain Aug. 14, and he wasn't expected to have enough time to return as a starter. However, the Angels won't rush him back into game action, and manager Joe Maddon said Saturday that the right-hander won't return in 2021. Rodriguez made 15 appearances (two starts) in the majors this year and generated a 3.64 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 29.2 innings.

Zack Greinke - Returning Tuesday vs. Rangers Greinke (COVID-19) will start Tuesday against the Rangers, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
