Impact The veteran infielder presumably suffered the injury during Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, when he went 0-for-2. Forsythe doesn't have an official timeline for his return, but his placement on the 45-day injured list rules him out for the rest of the regular season, at least.

Impact Forsythe started four of six games and is 3-for-13 with a home run since joining the Mets, but he'll head to the bench Sunday. The veteran infielder has already seen time at first base, second base and designated hitter with the Marlins still missing much of their Opening Day roster.

Impact Forsythe has been a regular in the Marlins' lineup since they resumed play, filling in at first base, second base and DH in the last three days. He will continue to help out around the diamond while batting near the bottom of the order with a large portion of the team's Opening Day roster currently unavailable.
