Hits home run as pinch hitter Butler went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a 5-1 win against the White Sox on Monday.

Impact Butler began the game on the bench, but he still made an impact when he hit a solo homer as a pinch hitter for Daz Cameron in the sixth inning. Butler had been cold coming into the contest, going 1-for-15 with seven strikeouts over his previous four games. Though he didn't start Monday, Butler has been taking on a near-everyday role for the Athletics, as this was his first game out of the starting lineup since the All-Star break.

Impact Butler did a little bit of everything except notch a base hit to complete the cycle in Tuesday's big win. He began with a leadoff triple and later scored before swatting a 411-foot solo homer to right center in the third.
