Park of return for Crochet The White Sox are slated to acquire Teel from the Red Sox as part of the Garrett Crochet trade, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

Impact A first-round pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, Teel batted .288/.386/.433 with 13 home runs and 12 stolen bases over 112 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester in 2024. He'll turn 23 in February and should take over as the White Sox' starting catcher sooner rather than later.

Promoted to Triple-A Teel was called up to Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Impact Teel has produced a .294 average with 11 home runs, 59 RBI, 64 runs scored and nine stolen bases over 320 at-bats in 83 games with Double-A Portland in 2024. He will look to keep it up at the Triple-A level, where he'll also be joined by shortstop Marcelo Mayer and outfielder Roman Anthony.
