Impact Emanuel has been moved off and on Miami's 26-man and 40-man rosters multiple times this season and he's now back in the big leagues again. The left-hander has permitted seven earned runs over 9.1 innings with the Marlins in 2024 and is likely to be deployed in long relief.

Impact Emanuel opened the season on the shelf due to the left shoulder injury that sidelined him for much of the 2022 campaign, but the southpaw was cleared to rejoin Indianapolis after completing a rehab assignment at Single-A Bradenton earlier in the month. He should continue to make regular starts for Indianapolis, but his lack of a 40-man roster spot may work against him in his hopes of earning a call-up to the Pirates at some point.

Impact Emanuel spent the vast majority of 2022 with the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate, posting a 2.37 ERA and 1.08 WHIP through 49.1 innings. He spent a total of nearly three months on the IL due to issues with his elbow and shoulder. If he can remain healthy, there is a good chance the 30-year-old southpaw sees some action in the majors this season.
