Shelved with elbow strain The Giants placed Winn on the 15-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to June 11, due to a right elbow strain.
Impact It's uncertain when exactly the right-hander sustained the injury, but he last pitched Monday against Washington and surrendered three runs across two-thirds of an inning. Winn will be eligible to be reinstated June 26, but a longer absence wouldn't be surprising given the nature of his injury.

Blows save Monday Winn (2-2) blew the save and took the loss Monday against the Nationals. He allowed three runs on three hits and a hit-by-pitch while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning.
Impact After eight brilliant innings from Logan Webb, Winn was unable to protect a two-run lead, allowing a two-run single to CJ Abrams and a go-ahead single to Daylen Lile before being lifted with one out remaining in the frame. Other high-leverage relievers Caleb Kilian and Erik Miller were presumably unavailable after pitching in each of the previous two games, making Winn the logical choice for the save opportunity. The 28-year-old now owns a 3.23 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB while converting one of two save opportunities across 30.2 innings.

Cubs Capitalize On Giants' Error For Eighth Walk-Off Win, Beat San Francisco 3-2
Picks up first save of season Winn struck out one and also gave up a hit in 1.2 innings to pick up a save in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Milwaukee.
Impact Winn got called on in the eighth and got the last five out of the game to earn his second career save, and first since 2023. The 28-year-old came in and got Gary Sanchez to ground into an inning-ending double play and pitched around a leadoff double by Christian Yelich in the ninth. No pitcher in the Giants' bullpen has gotten more than three saves this season, and with Winn being second in appearances on the team this season, he could be getting more opportunities to get these multi-inning save opportunities.

Allows two hits Tuesday Winn allowed one unearned run on two hits while striking out one across one inning in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Impact Winn entered in the sixth inning and surrendered back-to-back singles to begin the frame, and the first runner eventually scored after reaching third on a throwing error. The right-hander hasn't allowed an earned run in any of his last eight appearances, giving up six hits and two walks while striking out nine in nine innings during that span. He now owns a 1.85 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 22:8 K:BB across 24.1 innings in 24 outings this season.
