Impact Strowd has spent the entire season at Triple-A, turning in a 4.95 ERA and 1.80 WHIP with a 19:16 K:BB through 20 innings. He'll now be summoned to the major-league roster to help replace Brandon Pfaadt and Taylor Clarke (bereavement), though Strowd will likely be limited to low-leverage opportunities with the big club.

Impact Strowd showed a lot of promise during his first season in the majors last year, posting a 1.71 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 26.1 frames with the Orioles. He joined the Diamondbacks via trade in February and entered spring camp with a strong chance to make the big club's Opening Day roster, but he will instead head back to Triple-A after allowing 10 earned runs in just 7.2 Cactus League innings. Injuries to Arizona's top relievers have created a fairly unstable bullpen situation, however, so Strowd could rejoin the D-backs if he returns to form in the minors.
