Expected to be fine for next start
Manager Dave Roberts said Thursday that Wrobleski (hamstring) is expected to be able to make his next start, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Wrobleski was removed from Thursday's start against the Pirates after taking a comebacker off his leg, and he was later diagnosed with a hamstring contusion. Both Roberts and Wrobleski said they don't anticipate the injury affecting the left-hander's ability to make his next start, which is lined up for Wednesday next against the Rays.

Dealing with hamstring injury
Wrobleski suffered a right hamstring contusion in Thursday's contest against the Pirates, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Impact
Wrobleski exited the game with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning after taking a liner off the bat of Bryan Reynolds to his right thigh. It's now understood to be a hamstring contusion, and the 25-year-old's availability moving forward will likely depend on the severity of the injury. Wrobleski can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of his next tentative start Wednesday against Tampa Bay.

Exits early with potential injury
Wrobleski (undisclosed) exited Thursday's contest against the Pirates in the fifth inning, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Impact
Wrobleski took a line drive off his thigh with two outs in the bottom of the fifth frame, and although he attempted to cover the bag on what ended up being a single for Bryan Reynolds, manager Dave Roberts ultimately decided to remove the pitcher. The southpaw finished his day having tossed 4.2 innings, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out one batter. More information on Wrobleski's status will likely be provided in the near future.

Continues breakout campaign
Wrobleski tossed six scoreless innings against Arizona on Thursday, allowing six hits and striking out four batters without issuing a walk in a no-decision.
Impact
Wrobleski pounded the strike zone and pitched to contact, throwing 61 of 84 pitches for strikes and notching a modest seven whiffs. The Diamondbacks were twice able to log multiple hits against him in an inning but were unable to score either time. The southpaw picked up his second straight quality start and has now registered four outings of six-plus innings and zero runs this season. Wrobleski has twice yielded five-plus runs in a start, but he's also given up zero or one run on seven different occasions. Collectively, his work adds up to a very nice 2.62 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 7-2 record along with a 44:14 K:BB through 68.2 frames spanning 11 appearances (10 starts). While his lack of big strikeout numbers dings his fantasy appeal, Wrobleski has been a nice surprise, especially given that he entered 2026 without a guaranteed spot in the rotation.

Dominant in seventh win
Wrobleski (7-2) allowed a run on one hit and struck out nine without walking a batter over seven innings to earn the win over the Phillies on Friday.
Impact
Wrobleski served up a solo shot to Kyle Schwarber in the sixth inning, but that was it. There were some ups and downs for Wrobleski in May -- he won three of five starts and allowed a total of 15 runs over 32.2 innings in those games. The southpaw's dominant outing Friday has him at a 2.87 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 40:14 K:BB through 62.2 innings over 10 appearances (nine starts) this season. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Diamondbacks.

Takes second loss of season
Wrobleski (6-2) was tagged with the loss Friday against the Brewers after allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks across five innings. He struck out four.
Impact
Wrobleski endured a rough start to the game after allowing four runs in the first inning, including a three-run shot to William Contreras. He would allow just one run the rest of the way, but the damage was already done against one of the hottest offenses in the NL of late. Wrobleski has been trending in the wrong direction of late, giving up 14 runs (including three homers) in 19.2 frames over his past three outings. His next start should come next week in a favorable home matchup against the Rockies.

Strong bounce-back effort for win
Wrobleski (6-1) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings to earn the win over the Angels on Saturday.
Impact
Wrobleski allowed seven runs over 8.2 innings against Atlanta in his previous start. He kept the Angels off the board for five innings Saturday before allowing a two-run double to Jorge Soler in the sixth, but he shut things down in that frame to preserve the lead. Wrobleski has been a pleasant surprise early this season with a 2.49 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 27:12 K:BB across 50.2 innings through eight appearances (seven starts). The southpaw's starting role is safe as the Dodgers look set to temporarily transition to a five-man rotation in the absences of Tyler Glasnow (back) and Blake Snell (elbow). Wrobleski is projected to make his next start on the road at Milwaukee.
