Back in big leagues
Wrobleski was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
Impact
With Gavin Stone (shoulder) landing on the injured list, Wrobleski may be needed for a start this weekend against the Guardians. Wrobleski has made six starts for the big club this season, pitching to a 6.82 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 30.1 innings. He's a work in progress, but Wrobleski's numbers at Double-A this season (3.06 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 62:13 K:BB in 67.2 innings) demonstrate the lefty's potential.

Heading back to minors
The Dodgers optioned Wrobleski to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Wrobleski was pummeled for 10 runs over 5.1 innings in a start Sunday in Arizona. He was filling the rotation spot vacated by Clayton Kershaw (toe), and it's not clear what the Dodgers plan to do the next time Kershaw's spot comes up. They could summon another spot starter or perhaps go to a five-man rotation for one turn.

Left out to dry Sunday
Wrobleski (1-2) allowed 10 runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out two over 5.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Diamondbacks.
Impact
Wrobleski completed five frames for the fifth time in six major-league starts, but this was an arduous effort. He gave up an eight-run rally in the second inning, a solo shot to Eugenio Suarez in the third and one more run in the sixth before his exit. Wrobleski is now at a 6.82 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 20:11 K:BB across 30.1 innings in the majors this year. With none of the Dodgers' injured starters expected back before mid-September, Wrobleski is likely to get at least one more start in the majors, which lines up to be at home versus the Guardians.

Called up ahead of start
The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
Impact
Wrobleski initially looked like he might only be in store for a spot start Sunday, but he could have the opportunity to stick around for a few turns through the rotation after Clayton Kershaw (toe) landed on the injured list Saturday. Over his previous five starts with the big club this season, the rookie southpaw turned in a 4.68 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB across 25 innings.

Starting Sunday
The Dodgers will recall Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Impact
Through the first five starts of his MLB career, Wrobleski has put up a 4.68 ERA and 1.20 WHIP alongside an 18:9 K:BB through 25 innings. He's now set to receive another chance to prove he can stick around in a Dodgers rotation that has been plagued with injuries, though he'll have the tough task of facing a Diamondbacks offense that boasts an incredible .850 OPS since the start of August.

Optioned to Triple-A
Wrobleski was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Impact
Wrobleski picked up his first big-league win Friday against the Cardinals, although it was not his best big-league start to date, as he surrendered three home runs in five innings. Bobby Miller will be the latest addition to the rotation, but given all the injuries the Dodgers have suffered, it's possible we see Wrobleski up as a big-league starter again this season.

Escapes with first win
Wrobleski (1-1) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win Friday over the Cardinals.
Impact
Wrobleski gave up all four runs on three home runs, but the Dodgers' rally in the top of the sixth inning allowed him to come away with his first big-league win. He's given up multiple homers in three of his five starts this year. He's at a 4.68 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB through 25 innings. It's unclear at this time if Wrobleski will get another start -- he replaced Tyler Glasnow (elbow) on the 26-man roster, but Bobby Miller is expected to be called up to start Saturday and could displace Wrobleski in the process.

Officially recalled
The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
Impact
Wrobleski allowed just two runs in 10 innings over his last two starts in the majors, but he's given up seven runs in 10.1 frames since being sent down to Triple-A at the end of July. Tyler Glasnow (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move, and his absence could allow Wrobleski to stick around for another several turns through the rotation.

Starting Friday in St. Louis
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that Wrobleski will start Friday in St. Louis.
Impact
It looks to be just a spot start for Wrobleski, who has posted a 4.05 ERA and 15:7 K:BB over 20 innings in his first four major-league outings. The Cardinals have struggled mightily versus left-handed pitching this season, making the rookie southpaw an intriguing streaming option.

Sent back to minors
The Dodgers optioned Wrobleski to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Wrobleski did a solid job in his first four major-league starts, posting a 4.05 ERA and 15:7 K:BB over 20 innings. Someone needed to be sent down to make room for new acquisition Jack Flaherty, however, and the Dodgers have picked Wrobleski instead of River Ryan. The left-hander will rejoin the rotation at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's allowed five runs with a 17:3 K:BB across 10.1 frames this season.

Solid outing gets spoiled
Wrobleski allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against Houston on Saturday.
Impact
Wrobleski cruised through five frames, holding the Astros scoreless on two hits. He then allowed consecutive singles to begin the sixth but rebounded to retire the next pair of batters before Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts decided to pull the southpaw after a modest 82 pitches. That decision didn't work out well for the Dodgers, as Evan Phillips came in and surrendered four consecutive singles, allowing both inherited runners plus two more to score. Wrobleski later lost the opportunity for his first big-league victory when Houston put up two runs in the eighth frame. Despite the disappointing outcome for the rookie, his start was promising overall, as he tossed a career-high 5.2 frames and came within one out of a quality start. With James Paxton's recent release, Wrobleski has a good chance of sticking in the rotation even when Walker Buehler (hip) returns from the injured list.

Unable to get through five frames
Wrobleski did not factor into the decision in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday, allowing three hits and two walks over 4.1 scoreless innings. He struck out five.
Impact
Wrobleski fanned three of the first five batters he faced on the night, but struggled with his command throughout his 4.1 innings of work. The rookie threw only eight of his 17 first pitches for strikes and reached 83 pitches overall before being relieved by Yohan Ramirez in the fifth. On a positive note, Wrobleski induced 15 whiffs in the contest and hasn't allowed more than five hits in any of his first three starts to open the campaign. Saturday also marked the first scoreless outing for the lefty this season, though he's now allowed two walks in three straight.

Allows two homers in no-decision
Wrobleski did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-9 loss to the Tigers, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five inning...
Impact
Wrobleski allowed two runs in the second inning and then two more on back-to-back homers to open the fifth. He generated only six swinging strikes on 84 pitches while leaning mostly on his fastball and slider. The rookie has surrendered eight runs (seven earned) and four long balls through his first two starts and his role moving forward depends on the health of the Dodgers rotation after the All-Star break.

ROTOWIRE
Making another start
Wrobleski is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Tigers in Detroit.
Impact
The rookie southpaw will make a second turn through the rotation despite a so-so performance in his MLB debut this past Sunday. While taking a loss to Milwaukee, Wrobleski struck out four over five innings while giving up four runs on five hits and two walks. A matchup with a poor Detroit offense represents a good spot for Wrobleski to deliver an improved performance, but regardless of how he fares against the Tigers, he may not be guaranteed any starts behind this weekend. The Dodgers could get Tyler Glasnow (back) and/or Walker Buehler (hip) back from the injured list immediately after the All-Star break, and Wrobleski would likely be the Los Angeles pitcher most at risk of losing his rotation spot in such a scenario.

ROTOWIRE
Five innings in spot start
Wrobleski (0-1) gave up four earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four in five innings Sunday against the Brewers. He took the loss.
Impact
This was Wrobleski's big-league debut, and he had some impressive moments, including touching 98 mph with his four-seam fastball on one of his four punch outs. The lefty, who turns 24 later this week, pounded the zone (64.5 Zone%, 70.0 Strike%) and gave up a couple home runs on the day. His fastball averaged 95 mph and he threw mostly cutters and sliders off the fastball while mixing in a few changeups. Manager Dave Roberts hinted after the game that while he was impressed with Wrobleski's poise and pitch efficiency, the Dodgers will make a move to call up a reliever to take Wrobleski's place on the roster before Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Promoted for MLB debut
The Dodgers selected Wrobleski's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and he'll start Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Impact
The 23-year-old lefty is one of the organization's top prospects and will make his way to the majors after being at the Triple-A level for less than a month. Wrobleski posted a 3.06 ERA and 1.04 WHIP over 13 starts for Double-A Tulsa to earn the promotion, and he allowed five earned runs with a 17:3 K:BB in his two outings with Oklahoma City.
