Impact Los Angeles already had an opening on the 40-man roster after reliever Darien Nunez was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday, and the team placed Garrett Cleavinger (oblique) on the 10-day IL on Sunday to clear a spot for Bruihl on the 26-man active roster. Bruihl will give the Dodgers another lefty weapon out of the bullpen after he limited same-handed hitters to a .128/.212/.191 slash line while striking out 21 in 47 at-bats between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A this season.
