Osich expected to start for Boston against New York

Slated to open Monday Osich will serve as the opener in Monday's game against the Mets, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Impact Osich earned a spot in Boston's bullpen as a middle reliever to begin the season, but he'll serve as the opener Monday ahead of Zack Godley. Osich allowed no runs on one hit and no walks while striking out one in relief during Saturday's loss to the Orioles.
