Recalled and starting The Diamondbacks recalled Cabrera from Triple-A Reno prior to Thursday's game against the Giants.

Impact Cabrera is starting on the mound Thursday in San Francisco to fill in for Michael Soroka, who's on the injured list due to right shoulder inflammation. In a corresponding move, Arizona optioned Drey Jameson following Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Cubs.
