Impact Arizona booted Barrosa off its 40-man Friday, but he has found a new home with Houston and will join the big club right away with Jake Meyers optioned to Triple-A to clear a spot on the active roster. Barrosa is a switch hitter who can play all three outfield spots, but he has yet to show much offensively at the highest level (career .543 OPS).
