Impact Since coming to Detroit in 2016, Zimmermann has failed to reach 30 starts in a season as he's dealt with neck, lat, shoulder and elbow issues. He started at least 32 games in each of his last four seasons in Washington. "Not pitching the first couple of months of the season is probably going to help. I feel good right now and usually the last few years, it's been around this time where I would start getting tightness," Zimmermann said. "I don't anticipate anything flaring up this year." The 34-year-old has been a disappointment with the Tigers and has a pretty low fantasy stock at the moment coming off of a 6.91 ERA and 1.52 WHIP across 112 innings in 2019.
