Dealing with bruised hand Chisholm was diagnosed with a right hand contusion after exiting Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Chisholm left the contest after a grounder took a bad hop and hit him in the right hand. While he could have been in line for a lengthy absence had he suffered a fracture, it looks as though he's escaped with merely a minor injury. He's expected to return in two or three days.

Exits with apparent injury Chisholm left Tuesday's game against the Cardinals after a bad hop hit him in the right hand or wrist, Joe Frisaro of ManOnSecondBaseball.com reports.

Impact The severity of the injury is not yet clear. Chisholm's early exit may be nothing more than an abundance of caution given the low stakes of a Grapefruit League game, and he could be back within a few days if he's dealing with nothing worse than a bruise. If he instead suffered a fracture, he could miss time at the start of the regular season, opening up at-bats for Jon Berti.

Impact The second baseman took Erick Fedde deep twice for two solo shots, first in the the third inning and then again in the fifth. His last RBI came on a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, driving in teammate Eddy Alvarez. He later stole third base and scored the walk-off run on a wild pitch by Sam Clay in the 10th inning.
