Impact Murray will be replaced by Alimber Santa on Houston's 26-man active roster as he was recalled to the Astros big-league club. The 29-year-old struggled in his most recent appearance on Monday, allowing three earned runs on four hits and two walks to Minnesota. Murray allowed at least two earned runs in four of his seven appearances with Houston this season.

Impact Murray was optioned to Triple-A on Sunday, but he'll now return to the big-league bullpen to replace Bennett Sousa (elbow), who landed on the IL on Saturday. Murray will likely be limited to middle-relief duties after giving up four earned runs over six innings during his first four appearances with the Astros this year.
