INJURIES

Pulled from Sunday's lineup The Marlins scratched Marsee from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets due to back spasms, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Impact Miami will presumably look to stay away from Marsee for the series finale at Citi Field and is treating the young outfielder as day-to-day heading into its three-game series in Atlanta that begins Tuesday. Esteury Ruiz will draw the start in center field in place of Marsee.

Ends homer drought Thursday Marsee went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Mets.
Impact The center fielder provided the last bit of offense for the Marlins in a 4-2 loss by taking Nolan McLean deep in the seventh inning. It was Marsee's first long ball since July 3, snapping an 18-game drought, and over 74 plate appearances on the month he's compiled a .237/.375/.356 slash line with two homers, one steal, six RBI and 11 runs.

Late addition to lineup Marsee was added to the Miami lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies and will start in center field and bat ninth, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact With southpaw Jesus Luzardo on the hill for the Phillies, the left-handed-hitting Marsee had been scheduled to receive the afternoon off. However, after third baseman Leo Jimenez was a late scratch due to a stomach ailment, Javier Sanoja will cover the hot corner, while Marsee will be needed to fill the open outfield spot. Marsee will be flanked in the outfield by Heriberto Hernandez in left and Esteury Ruiz in right.
JULY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Shielded from southpaw Marsee is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.
Impact Marsee reached base four times in the first two games of the series, but the left-handed-hitting outfielder will hit the bench Wednesday while southpaw Jesus Luzardo toes the rubber for the Phillies. The Marlins will go with Esteury Ruiz in center field in the series finale.

Productive from bottom of order Marsee went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Monday's win over the Phillies.
Impact The 25-year-old center fielder has found himself batting ninth in his last two starts, and at least on Monday the move sparked a bit of offense from him. Marsee's had a rough season overall, but he's showing signs of life in July, slashing .255/.387/.33 over 18 games with one homer, one steal, five RBI and nine runs.

Griffin Conine hit a walkoff run-scoring single to lift the Marlins past the Philadelphia Phillies 8-7 and end Miami’s 12-game losing streak

Not starting Sunday Sanoja is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Impact Sanoja started the previous six games and will head to the bench Sunday after going 3-for-14 with two walks and six strikeouts during that span. Graham Pauley will step in at the hot corner in the series finale versus San Diego while batting eighth.
JULY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Not in Wednesday's lineup Marsee is not in the Marlins' starting lineup against the Astros on Wednesday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
Impact Marsee has gone 1-for-13 with five strikeouts across his four games since the All-Star break. He'll exit Wednesday's lineup while Estury Ruiz starts in center field and bats ninth against Astros right-hander Peter Lambert.
JULY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Getting break against LHP Marsee is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Impact Marsee will join fellow left-handed hitters Griffin Conine, Kyle Stowers and Joe Mack on the bench for the series finale while southpaw Joey Cantillo toes the rubber for Cleveland. Miami will go with a starting outfield of Heriberto Hernandez, Esteury Ruiz and Javier Sanoja from left to right Sunday.

Jakob Marsee hits deep game-ending single in 10th to give Marlins 6-5 win over Mariners

Jakob Marsee hit a game-ending single off the wall in right field in the 10th inning, and the Miami Marlins beat the Seattle Mariners 6-5 on Tuesday night

Walks off Seattle Marsee went 2-for-4 with two RBI during the Marlins' 6-5 extra-inning win over the Mariners on Tuesday.
Impact Marsee extended Miami's lead to 3-0 with an RBI single in the third inning, but he made his biggest contribution in the 10th with a long, towering single that brought Xavier Edwards home for the game-winning run. It was the fifth time this season that Marsee logged at least two RBI and he's reached base safely in each of his last five games, going 5-for-15 with one home run, three RBI and four runs scored over that span.
JULY 8 • ROTOWIRE
In Miami lineup Tuesday Marsee (knee) will start in center field and bat seventh in Tuesday's game versus the Mariners.
Impact Marsee had to be lifted from Sunday's game against the Athletics with a right knee contusion, but he will not have to miss a start, as Miami's team off day Monday was evidently enough rest for the outfielder. The 25-year-old is slashing a disappointing .192/.316/.296 this season but does have five home runs and 18 stolen bases.
JULY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Exits game with knee contusion Marsee was removed from Sunday's game against the Athletics due to a right knee contusion, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Impact Marsee was hit in the right kneecap by a pitch from Gage Jump in the third inning. Marsee initially stayed in the game to run the bases but was replaced by Griffin Conine in the bottom of the frame. The good news for Marsee is that X-rays came back negative, and with the Marlins having an off-day Monday, he may not miss time and be in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Mariners.
JULY 5 • ROTOWIRE
Swats fifth homer Marsee went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's win over the A's.
Impact The Marlins took advantage of a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento by launching five homers on the night, including Marsee's shot off Jack Perkins in the first inning. Marsee snapped a 12-game power drought with the blast, and since the beginning of June he's managed a meager .170/.291/.277 slash line with two of his five long balls on the season, along with four steals, six RBI and 11 runs in 28 contests.
