Impact Meyers was losing out on playing time to both Taylor Trammell and Brice Matthews, so Matthews will head to Triple-A, where he will serve in an everyday role in the outfield. He has a .580 OPS with one steal, three home runs and 11 RBI across 148 major-league plate appearances this season.
