Knocks in four in win
Bradley went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBI in Wednesday's 7-1 win over Cincinnati.
Impact
Bradley singled home a run during Boston's four-run fourth inning then cleared the sacks with a bases-loaded triple in the eighth. That gave the Red Sox a comfortable lead that not even the team's wobbly bullpen could squander. There was a well-founded fear that Bradley's bat would not provide enough oomph to sustain his elite defense in the lineup every day. That fear materialized early, when he hit .156 with five RBI during 21 games in April. However, Bradley owns a .293 average (24-for-82) with 12 extra-base hits and 15 RBI over the last 26 contests.

Provides insurance off bench
Bradley went 1-for-1 with a three-run home run in Friday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.
Impact
Bradley, who was not in the starting lineup, entered the game in the top of seventh inning as a defensive replacement for Christian Arroyo in right field. His turn to bat came up in the bottom half of the eighth with Boston nursing a one-run lead, and the light-hitting outfielder drilled his first home run of the season into the Monster seats. While Bradley's bat has improved since a cool .156 start during the month of April, he's still prone to slumps and is batting just .200 for the season.

On bench Friday
Bradley will sit Friday against Seattle, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Impact
Bradley's off day is his second in three games. He's made a very poor case for everyday at-bays this season, hitting just .193/.261/.275. Christian Arroyo will replace him in right field.

Bradley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Laces two hits off Ohtani
Bradley went 2-for-3 with a double in Thursday's 8-0 loss to the Angels.
Impact
Bradley was Boston's best hitter against Shohei Ohtani and extended his hitting streak to three games. He went 5-for-7 with three doubles and an RBI over the three-game series, raising his average to .200. However, the team as a whole has underwhelmed (.229, 26th) and hasn't been able to compensate for Bradley's inconsistency at the dish.

Average dips over road trip
Bradley went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 9-5 loss to the Orioles.
Impact
Bradley and the Red Sox finished a disastrous road trip. Boston's starting right fielder went 2-for-33 (.061) in nine games on the road, dropping his season line to .147/.227/.206. If the team were hitting close to its preseason projections, they might be able to swallow Bradley's cipher of a bat. But with Boston's offense underperforming -- particularly at right field and first base -- change may need to happen. It started at first base Friday when Franchy Cordero was called up to platoon with Bobby Dalbec. As for right field, Jarren Duran is lighting it up at Triple-A Worcester, posting a .340/.441/.540 line over 13 games for the WooSox.

Bradley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.
Impact

Swipes a bag, drive in a run
Bradley went 1-for-3 with a walk, RBI and stolen base in a 4-3 win Friday in Tampa Bay.
Impact
Bradley drove in a run on a ground out in the first and singled and stole a base in the third. After failing to record a hit in his first five games of the season, he is 9-for-28 with five walks and five RBI in his last nine games. From 2015 to 2020, he was a slightly above-average hitter with a .769 OPS. If he's able to return to that level and not repeat his atrocious .497 OPS from last season, he may find himself with many suitors in free agency at the end of the season.

Benched against lefty
Bradley is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.
Impact
With southpaw Yusei Kikuchi on the hill for Toronto, the lefty-hitting Bradley will retreat to the bench after five consecutive starts. The Red Sox will turn to the righty-hitting Christian Arroyo to replace Bradley in right field.

Records two more hits
Bradley went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 8-4 loss to the Twins.
Impact
Bradley, who opened the season hitless in 10 at-bats, recorded a second straight multi-hit game Friday. He's 4-for-8 with three doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in those two contests. The soon-to-be 32-year-old outfielder's start can be viewed as a microcosm of his career. Bradley's track record reveals a notoriously streaky hitter that experiences lengthy slumps.

Drives in three
Bradley went 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and one run scored Wednesday against the Tigers.
Impact
Bradley entered the game hitless across 10 plate appearances, though he had struck out only once in that span. He reversed fortunes Wednesday by delivering a two-RBI double in the fourth inning. Bradley followed that up three frames later with another two-base hit to drive in a runner. He soured his day a bit with a trio of strikeouts, and is still hitting just .133 early on in the campaign.

Bradley is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
