Impact Hamilton didn't make the Opening Day roster after inking a split contract over the offseason, but he'll get a look with the big club now after allowing two runs with a 9:1 K:BB over his first 6.1 innings at Gwinnett. The 30-year-old has typically been pretty effective when healthy, authoring a 3.45 ERA and 152:62 K:BB over the last three seasons with the Yankees. He'll work in middle relief.

Impact Hamilton doesn't have any minor-league options remaining, so his demotion to Triple-A will cost him his place on Atlanta's 40-man roster. Signs with Atlanta Hamilton signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with Atlanta on Friday.

Impact Hamilton finished 2025 with a 4.28 ERA and 1.25 WHIP across 40 regular-season innings -- the worst numbers of his three-year tenure in the Bronx. The 30-year-old righty will now help bolster Atlanta's bullpen, but he's unlikely to receive many high-leverage opportunities with Raisel Iglesias, Robert Suarez, Dylan Lee and Joe Jimenez (knee) already on the roster.
