Jesse Winker - Nursing calf cramp Winker exited Monday's Grapefruit League contest versus the Rays due to a calf cramp, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Impact Mets manager Carlos Mendoza indicated that Winker's removal was precautionary and the 31-year-old "should be OK." Winker -- who was retired in his lone plate appearance Monday -- is sporting an .805 OPS this spring and projects to open the season as the Mets' primary designated hitter against right-handed pitching.

Joey Meneses - Dispatched to minor-league camp The Mets reassigned Meneses to minor-league camp Monday.
Impact Meneses has produced at a near-league-average level at the plate over parts of three seasons in the majors with the Nationals, slashing .274/.322/.408 with a 101 wRC+ across 1,210 plate appearances. The 32-year-old's power production dropped considerably in 2024, however, with Meneses slugging just three home runs in 313 plate appearances before the Nationals demoted him to Triple-A last July and kept him in the minors for the remainder of the season. He caught on with the Mets on a minor-league deal in the offseason, but Meneses' declining production and lack of defensive flexibility made it unlikely that he would win a bench role on the Opening Day roster. Meneses will likely open the season at Triple-A Syracuse, and it may take a Pete Alonso injury in order for him to get a look with the big club.

Anthony Gose - Cut from big-league camp The Mets reassigned Gose to minor-league camp Monday.
Impact Gose has turned in a 4.78 ERA and 41:17 K:BB in 32 innings over parts of three seasons in the majors as a pitcher since he made the conversion from the outfield earlier in his career, but the 34-year-old lefty was attending big-league camp as a non-roster invitee and faced an uphill battle to win a spot in the Mets' Opening Day bullpen. He's likely to begin the season in a relief role at Triple-A Syracuse.

Luis De Los Santos - Misses out on Opening Day roster The Mets reassigned De Los Santos to minor-league camp Monday.
Impact De Los Santos' chances of making the Opening Day roster might have increased slightly after the Jeff McNeil suffered an oblique strain last week that will force him to the injured list to begin the season, but the 26-year-old still found himself behind Brett Baty, Luisangel Acuna and Donovan Walton in the competition for spot in New York's infield. He's expected to begin the 2025 season at Triple-A Syracuse, where he could receive everyday at-bats while moving around the infield.

Hayden Senger - Making push for 26-man roster Senger could open the season as the Mets' No. 2 catcher behind Luis Torrens, Tim Britton of the Athletic reports.
Impact Internal options for catching depth are limited with Francisco Alvarez (hand) set to begin the campaign on the IL, but Senger's defensive skills behind the plate could make him the choice over Jakson Reetz and Chris Williams. The 27-year-old Senger doesn't offer much upside with his bat however, managing a .724 OPS with three homers over 48 games for Triple-A Syracuse in 2024, and the Mets could look outside the organization for Torrens' backup once other teams begin to trim their rosters at the end of camp.
