Impact Graceffo entered the game in the 11th and quickly loaded the bases after allowing a single to Keibert Ruiz and walking Nasim Nunez. He never recovered and allowed four runs before recording the final out, and the offense couldn't respond in the bottom of the frame. This rough outing snapped a dominant stretch for Graceffo, who had gone 10 straight outings and 16.2 innings without allowing an earned run prior to Saturday.

Earns win in relief Friday Graceffo (8-1) earned the win after walking one and striking out one over two-thirds of a scoreless inning Friday against the White Sox.

Impact Graceffo entered the game with one out and a runner on first in the top of the fifth inning, and even though he loaded the bases, he escaped the jam unscathed without allowing a single run. The brief but important appearance earned Graceffo his eighth win of the season while lowering his ERA to 2.68. He's been excellent in recent weeks, as he hasn't given up a run in his last eight outings dating back to Aug. 17 while posting a 0.83 WHIP and a 18:5 K:BB across 13.1 innings over that span.

A midseason pitch mix change has unlocked Graceffo, who has logged a 2.22 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB over 28.1 innings since ditching his curveball for a new slider. He threw three perfect innings with four strikeouts in starting a bullpen game last week versus the Orioles, and the righty has since added an additional five scoreless frames with a 9:1 K:BB over two outings after that. Graceffo threw a season-high 48 pitches his last time out, so he should be capable of around 50-to-60 next week if he does wind up making a spot start.
