Impact After being scratched from Tuesday's scheduled start due to general body fatigue, Cole threw 91 pitches Sunday, his lowest pitch total since July 6. Cole fared well with the added rest, allowing two earned runs after surrendering six his last time out. The 33-year-old is trending up but he has yet to find his dominant form as he works his way back from an elbow injury. In eight starts, Cole has pitched to a 5.09 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 42:12 K:BB across 40.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled for a home start against the Rangers next weekend.
