Sent back to Triple-A Atlanta optioned Wall to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Impact Wall drew only four plate appearances during his nearly four-week stay in the majors. The 27-year-old former top prospect has slashed .258/.360/.399 with six homers and 45 steals in 78 games (356 plate appearances) this season at Triple-A.

Swipes two bases in MLB debut Wall stole two bases after entering as a pinch runner in Saturday's loss to Milwaukee.

Impact Wall stole 45 bases in 78 games for Triple-A Gwinnett this season before earning his first MLB call-up Tuesday. The outfielder entered as a pinch runner for Eddie Rosario with one out in the ninth inning Saturday and immediately showed why Atlanta sees him as a valuable roster piece, stealing both second and third base on consecutive pitches before Milwaukee closer Devin Williams could get through the next batter. Wall was stranded as the tying run at third base, but it was nonetheless an impressive big-league debut. He isn't likely to see his name penciled into the lineup often, but Saturday's performance highlighted the impact Wall can make with his speed in select situations.

Selected to MLB roster Atlanta selected Wall's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Impact A supplemental first-round pick (35th overall) by the Rockies in the 2014 MLB Draft, Wall has finally reached the majors at age 27. He joined Atlanta on a minor-league contract over the winter and had slashed .258/.360/.399 with six homers and 45 stolen bases through 78 games this season at the Triple-A level. Wall figures to primary serve as a pinch-runner and late-game defensive replacement for the NL East leaders. He can cover all three outfield spots.
