Shaky in win
Fedde (2-3) earned the win in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He allowed three runs on six hits and five walks while striking out four over five innings.
Impact
Fedde's start was pushed back a day after Saturday's rainout. He was able to earn a win for the first time since his season debut, but he was not at his best, as the five walks were a season high. The 32-year-old right-hander has had some trouble with control this season, as evidenced by his 21:21 K:BB over 37.2 innings across seven starts. He's added a mediocre 4.78 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Fedde's next start is projected to be on the road versus one of his former teams, the Nationals.

Turn in rotation paused by rain
Fedde's start against the Mets on Saturday won't take place, as the game has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Impact
Fedde was scheduled to face off against Mets hurler Tylor Megill on Saturday, but the contest has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader Sunday. Fedde will likely start one of Sunday's contests, though it's not yet clear if he'll take the mound in Game 1 or Game 2.

Hit hard in loss
Fedde (1-3) took the loss against the Brewers on Sunday, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.
Impact
Fedde surrendered three runs in the first inning and then four more in the fourth. He was only able to manage eight whiffs on 103 pitches while yielding 11 hard-hit balls. The 32-year-old has been inconsistent in 2025, with four quality starts but also 13 total earned runs allowed in his other two outings. He'll carry a 4.68 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 17:16 K:BB across 32.2 innings into a home matchup with the Mets next weekend.

Pitched through calf issue
Fedde pitched through a calf issue after being struck by a line drive in the second inning of Monday's outing in Atlanta, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact
Fedde wound up covering six innings in the start and limited Atlanta to two runs. He worked with a trainer in between innings to keep the muscle loose and felt fine while pitching, but Fedde had trouble putting weight on the leg while talking to the media after the game. Fedde will have six days of rest before his next scheduled start Monday in Cincinnati, and there's no indication at this point that he might be in danger of missing that start.

Posts another quality start
Fedde logged a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while notching three strikeouts over six innings.
Impact
Fedde had only one clean inning among his six frames, but he managed to mostly tip-toe around trouble with the help of two double plays behind him. The righty was in line for the win when he departed, but Atlanta scored five runs in the eighth frame to pull out the victory. While Fedde has registered a fine 3.33 ERA and 1.19 WHIP and now has four quality starts in five appearances, he's played with fire in walking three of more batters in each of his past four outings while heavily pitching to contact. As a result, his FIP is a much less desirable 5.07, while his K:BB is an ugly 13:14 through 27 innings.

Works around danger in second loss
Fedde (1-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Astros after giving up one run on six hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out five.
Impact
Fedde managed to escape two bases-loaded jams, with one coming in the second inning by getting Mauricio Dubon to fly out and another in the fourth after forcing Jose Altuve to fly out. Jake Meyers plated a run on a single in the sixth, but Fedde was able to induce a double play to close his outing on a positive note. Although the veteran right-hander carries a solid 3.43 ERA and 1.14 WHIP through four starts (21 innings), his 10:11 K:BB is a cause for concern heading into next week's tough matchup in Atlanta.
