Surrenders three runs Friday
Fedde didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks with one strikeout across 5.2 innings.
Impact
Fedde worked as the bulk reliever behind opener Bryan Hudson, who gave up one hit and one walk with one strikeout in a scoreless first inning. Fedde threw 91 pitches but generated just five whiffs. While the right-hander has survived for the most part in the early going this season, his numbers are probably better than he's pitched, as Fedde will carry a 3.42 ERA and 16:11 K:BB across 26.1 innings into his next appearance. He doesn't have swing-and-miss stuff and fully relies on his defense.

Yields three runs over 4.2 innings
Fedde didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Athletics, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks with three strikeouts across 4.2 innings.
Impact
Fedde struggled with his control and was probably lucky to not have a worse box score. Already lacking even average stuff, Fedde can't afford to give out free passes. Jacob Wilson took Fedde deep for a solo homer in the second inning, the third homer Fedde has allowed in four starts. He'll carry a 3.92 ERA and 15:7 K:BB across 20.2 innings into his next start at home against the Nationals next week.

Takes tough loss vs. Kansas City
Fedde (0-3) took the loss against the Royals on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out four across five innings.
Impact
Fedde put the White Sox on the back foot after yielding a leadoff homer to Maikel Garcia. Fedde managed to settle in and kept the Royals off the board for the rest of his outing, but he was unable to avoid the loss after receiving no run support from his teammates. He tossed 53 strikes on 85 pitches (62.4 percent) while generating eight whiffs and seven flyouts. Fedde has yielded three earned runs or less in each of his first three starts of the season and has a 3.38 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB across 16 innings, yet he has taken the loss in all of his appearances this season. He's slated to start next week on the road against the Athletics.

Tosses six innings in bulk role
Fedde (0-2) took the loss in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles. He allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings.
Impact
Following opener Grant Taylor, Fedde worked through six frames with limited damage, though a quiet night from the White Sox offense left him with the loss. Coming off a poor 2025 campaign in which he posted a 5.49 ERA and 1.52 WHIP across 32 regular-season appearances (141 innings) between St. Louis, Atlanta and Milwaukee, the right-hander is off to a decent start in 2026 with a 4.09 ERA and 1.18 WHIP through two outings and 11 innings. His next appearance is on track to come Saturday against the Royals, though it remains to be seen whether he starts or works behind an opener again.

Sunk by Marlins
Fedde (0-1) took the loss Tuesday, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk over five innings as the White Sox fell 9-2 to Miami. He struck out four.
Impact
The veteran right-hander tossed 50 of 80 pitches for strikes and held the Marlins off the board for three innings before things fell apart for him in the fourth. Fedde is hoping to recapture the form he showed in 2024 in his return to the White Sox, but about the only bright spot in Tuesday's performance is that he kept the ball in the yard after serving up 19 homers in 141 innings last season while bouncing between St. Louis, Atlanta and Milwaukee. Fedde is set to make his next start at home early next week against the Orioles.

Earns rotation spot
Fedde will begin the 2026 season in the White Sox's rotation, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Fedde has only thrown 8.2 innings this spring, though he's limited opponents to three earned runs paired with a 7:2 K:BB. He'll likely appear in at least one more game this spring, before lining up to make his regular-season debut at Miami during the team's second series.

Signs with ChiSox
The White Sox signed Fedde to a one-year contract Monday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Fedde, of course, spent the 2023 season in the KBO before returning to the majors in 2024 with the White Sox, where Fedde experienced success prior to being dealt to the Cardinals at the trade deadline that summer. Fedde was knocked around with St. Louis and pitched for three different teams in 2025, posting an ugly 5.49 ERA and 83:67 K:BB across 141 innings. The White Sox and Fedde will hope he can recapture some of that previous success again in 2026. He'll compete for a spot in the rotation this spring.

Outrighted to Triple-A
Fedde cleared waivers Tuesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Fedde was designated for assignment shortly before the end of the regular season after posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over 16 innings with the Brewers. The 32-year-old righty is still working out with the big club in preparation for the NLDS, but he won't be eligible to rejoin the active roster for 15 days unless he replaces an injured player.

DFA'd by Brewers
Milwaukee designated Fedde for assignment Sunday.
Impact
Fedde inked a one-year deal with the Brewers in late August, but his run with the team will come to an end ahead of the regular-season finale versus the Reds. The veteran right-hander appeared in seven games with Milwaukee, logging a 3.38 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP and a 7:7 K:BB across 16 innings.
