Beginning season on IL
Henriquez (foot) was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Skipper Dave Roberts stated at the beginning of the month that Henriquez wouldn't be ready for the start of the regular season due to a metatarsal injury in his left foot, and the club announced Monday that he'll open the year on the injured list. The Dodgers have yet to disclose a timetable for the right-hander's return.

Out for Opening Day
Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Henriquez won't be ready for the start of the season due to a left metatarsal injury, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact
Henriquez was seen in the Dodgers' clubhouse Tuesday with a walking boot on. While the injury is apparently serious enough to rule him out for Opening Day, Roberts didn't provide any details on the nature or severity of the injury, so there's no telling how long Henriquez will be out.

Absent from World Series roster
Henriquez is not on the Dodgers' World Series roster, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Impact
The Dodgers have gotten Alex Vesia (ribs) and Brusdar Graterol (shoulder) back and Henriquez is one of the roster casualties. He has allowed four runs over five relief innings this postseason.

Picks up first big-league save
Henriquez walked one and struck out two over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rockies.
Impact
Henriquez was able to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning, earning his first big-league save in just his third appearance in the majors. He has allowed one run and two hits with a 5:2 K:BB over 3.1 innings since his call-up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. The flame-throwing prospect pitched at five levels in 2024, though his current stint in the majors is likely just a cup of coffee to prepare him for 2025.

Gets the call-up
The Dodgers called up Henriquez from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Henriquez started the season in A-ball and has now reached his fifth level of baseball for the season. He now finds himself in the big leagues, propelled by his 104 mph fastball. In Triple-A Oklahoma City, the 22-year-old posted a 4.26 ERA and 1.97 WHIP in 12.2 innings across 14 games. While the right-hander was able to strikeout 18 batters in that span, he also walked 10. Henriquez was not on the 40-man roster ahead of the three game set against the Padres, so a corresponding move is imminent.

Headed to Triple-A
Henriquez was promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Henriquez will make the leap to Triple-A after compiling a 3.06 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 24 strikeouts over 17.2 innings in 16 appearances out of the bullpen with Double-A Tulsa. The right-hander is now just one step away from making his major-league debut.
