Impact O'Neill's stiff back will keep him out of the starting nine for the third day in a row, but his appearance as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Tigers would seem to hint that he's not in much danger of landing on the injured list. Lars Nootbaar will pick up a start in left field Thursday in O'Neill's stead.

Drew Hutchison - Clears waivers Hutchison cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

Impact Hutchison allowed one unearned run on four hits and a walk while striking out one in 4.1 innings during a no-decision in Toronto on Sunday, but his effective performance wasn't enough to land him another spot on a 40-man roster. He'll head back to Triple-A Toledo, where he has a 3.63 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 84.1 innings across 17 starts this season.

Grayson Greiner - Sent down Thursday Greiner was optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

Impact Greiner was expected to see more playing time while Eric Haase (abdomen) was on the injured list, but he was in the lineup for just one of the last four games. He'll now head to the minors since Haase is expected to be activated Friday.
