Yunior Severino - Bumped up Double-A The Twins promoted Severino from High-A Cedar Rapids to Double-A Wichita on Thursday.
Impact He hit .283/.398/.572 with 11 home runs across 191 plate appearances for Cedar Rapids to earn the promotion. Dating back to July 17, the 22-year-old leads the Midwest League in home runs (seven) and OPS (1.581). Severino was a highly regarded international signee from the 2016 cycle, but he got off to an unimpressive start to his career, as he never posted an OPS better than .789 at any level prior to 2021.
