Impact Detroit is expected to place Baddoo on the 7-day injured list Wednesday after he sustained a concussion, but it's unclear if Hill will be immediately deactivated as a result of his injuries. Regardless if one or both of Baddoo and Hill land on the IL, expect the Tigers to call up another outfielder from Triple-A Toledo to provide a healthy body at the position in the short term. Since being promoted from Toledo coming out of the All-Star break, Hill has slashed .242/.329/.323 with a home run and two stolen bases in 20 games while serving as Detroit's primary center fielder.

Impact The two outfielders collided at full speed in left-center field while chasing down a fly ball, which Hill managed to snag. According to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press, Hill is being evaluated for a rib injury. He went 0-for-3 before exiting the contest, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him receive Wednesday off given the violent nature of the collision.
