Sent back to Nashville The Brewers optioned Yoho to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
Impact Yoho will return to Nashville after he was called up Wednesday to serve as the Brewers' 27th man for their doubleheader with the Mets. The right-handed reliever was used in the Brewers' 7-3 loss in the second game of the day, working 1.1 innings while striking out one and allowing one earned run on one hit and one walk.

Joins big club as 27th man The Brewers recalled Yoho from Triple-A Nashville ahead of the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Mets and designated him as their 27th man.
Impact Yoho will be up for his second cup of coffee with Milwaukee after he previously received his first big-league call-up in late April and allowed six earned runs in 5.2 innings over five relief appearances before being optioned to Nashville. Since reporting back to Triple-A on May 3, Yoho has looked sharp in a middle-innings role, turning in a 2.12 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB over 17 frames. He'll provide Milwaukee with a fresh bullpen arm for the second game of the twin bill but isn't likely to be put to work in a high-leverage spot.

Sent back to minors The Brewers optioned Yoho to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
Impact Yoho was called up to the majors for his first major-league stint April 21 and got into five contests while with the big club. The right-hander struggled, however, posting a 9.53 ERA and 2.29 WHIP with a 4:6 K:BB over 5.2 innings. In a corresponding move Saturday, Milwaukee recalled pitcher Elvin Rodriguez from Nashville.

Brewers call up reliever Craig Yoho and the right-hander makes his major league debut

For Craig Yoho, finally reaching the major leagues has been a long time coming
APRIL 22 • Associated Press
Officially added to roster The Brewers selected Yoho's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Impact Yoho had spun 9.2 innings while allowing just on unearned run with Nashville to begin the season, striking out nine and walking three along the way. The changeup artist boasts a 38.8 percent strikeout rate in his minor-league career. Yoho will work in low-leverage spots initially but could pitch his way into more meaningful appearances.

Impact Yoho had spun 9.2 innings while allowing just on unearned run with Nashville to begin the season, striking out nine and walking three along the way. The changeup artist boasts a 38.8 percent strikeout rate in his minor-league career. Yoho is one of the best relief pitching prospects in baseball and could eventually be pitching in the late innings.

Yoho, owner of nasty changeup and 0.00 ERA, called up to Crew (source) Brewers manager Pat Murphy said during Spring Training that Craig Yoho's changeup was the nastiest pitch he saw throughout camp. That pitch...

Set to be promoted to majors The Brewers are expected to promote Yoho to the majors, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Impact Milwaukee will need to add Yoho to the 40-man roster in order to make the move. Yoho was an eighth-round pick in the 2023 Draft and has been lights out at Triple-A to begin the season. He's pitched in eight games, tossing 9.2 scoreless innings with one save. The Brewers need the bullpen help, as they are currently 26th in ERA.

Reliever Craig Yoho Turns Heads In Brewers Camp The Brewers developed Josh Hader and Devin Williams into all-star closers. Craig Yoho could be the organization's next frontline closer.
MARCH 30 • BASEBALLAMERICA.COM
Cut from major-league camp The Brewers reassigned Yoho to minor-league camp Wednesday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact Yoho was arguably the team's most impressive pitcher this spring, allowing just one run and two hits with a 12:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings. However, he is not yet on the 40-man roster and that worked against him here. Yoho should still make an impact with the big club in 2025.

Working with big club Yoho threw a scoreless inning of relief in Wednesday's exhibition game.
Impact The 25-year-old rose rapidly through the minor-league ranks last season and is competing for a relief spot with the big club. Even if he secures one it's unlikely he jumps into a key role with just 14.1 career innings above the Double-A level, but he tallied 10 saves last season and owns both a 15.5 K/9 as a professional an elite changeup, so he's worth keeping an eye on this spring.
FEBRUARY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Climbs three minor-league levels Yoho has a 1.74 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, 15 strikeouts and six walks in 10.1 innings across 10 appearances since getting promoted to Triple-A Nashville on Aug. 16.
Impact Yoho, a 24-year-old righty reliever, opened the year at High-A Wisconsin and has climbed to the highest level of the minors while logging a 1.01 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 98 strikeouts and nine saves in 53.2 innings across three levels. Yoho' statistics are up there with any reliever prospect in the game, although he does it with an interesting pitch mix. His low-90s fastball isn't remarkable, but he boasts a 70-grade changeup and plus slider, which allows him to keep righties and lefties off balance. Yoho should spend most of 2025 in the majors, but he is more interesting in dynasty leagues that reward holds, as he is unlikely to unseat the either Devin Williams or Trevor Megill in the ninth inning.
