Lands with Royals Kaiser signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Saturday.
Impact Kaiser entered free agency after being outrighted by the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, and it didn't take long for him to land elsewhere. The 28-year-old finished the Triple-A season with a .236/.345/.406 slash line over 273 plate appearances, and he'll most likely report to Triple-A Omaha to begin the 2026 campaign.
NOVEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Loses 40-man spot Kaiser cleared waivers Wednesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Reno, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Impact Kaiser spent most of the season at Triple-A, where he slashed .236/.345/.406 with six homers, 31 RBI and 32 runs scored across 273 plate appearances. It's unknown whether the 28-year-old will elect to test the free-agent market, though he would be unlikely to attract more than a minor-league deal if he were to do so.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Back in big leagues The Diamondbacks recalled Kaiser from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.
Impact The 28-year-old spent the past couple weeks with Reno but will join the Diamondbacks on Tuesday as Lourdes Gurriel (knee) lands on the injured list. Kaiser is likely to operate as a utility infielder while up in the majors.
SEPTEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
Sent down to Triple-A The Diamondbacks optioned Kaiser to Triple-A Reno following Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Impact Kaiser was called up by the Diamondbacks in August and saw his first major-league action since 2023 as a member of the Rockies. He appeared in five games (four starts) and went 2-for-14 (.143) with two RBI over that span. Kaiser will join Jorge Barrosa in Triple-A, with the duo being sent down to make room on Arizona's 26 man roster for the return of Pavin Smith (oblique) and Ildemaro Vargas (foot) from the 10-day injured list.

Starts at 2B Kaiser started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies.
Impact Kaiser, who gave Ketel Marte a day off at second base, played in the majors for the first time since 2023. With Blaze Alexander serving as the primary third baseman following Arizona's trade of Eugenio Suarez, Kaiser can fill the utility infielder role that once belonged to Alexander.

Joins big-league roster The Diamondbacks selected Kaiser's contract from Triple-A Reno on Friday.
Impact Kaiser joined Arizona on a minor-league contract in November and will receive his first look in the majors since 2023. The 28-year-old had a .236/.346/.423 slash line with six homers and two steals in 65 games for Reno this season and should serve as a utility infielder for the Diamondbacks.
AUGUST 1 • ROTOWIRE
Invited to D-backs camp Kaiser signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Friday and received an invitation to spring training.
Impact Kaiser spent all of 2024 with the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate, where he slashed .221/.343/.339 across 347 plate appearances. While he'll have an opportunity to play with the Diamondbacks in spring training, the 27-year-old infielder seems destined to begin the 2025 season with Triple-A Reno.
NOVEMBER 16, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Moves to MiLB camp The Rockies reassigned Kaiser to minor-league camp Sunday.
Impact Kaiser reached the big leagues for the first time in 2023, logging four plate appearances over three games with Colorado. The 27-year-old infielder was moved off the Rockies' 40-man roster last July and was attending camp as a non-roster invitee, but he wasn't a serious candidate to be included on Colorado's Opening Day roster. He'll likely begin the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Albuquerque.
MARCH 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Outrighted to Triple-A Colorado outrighted Kaiser to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Impact Kaiser was designated for assignment by the Rockies this past Sunday and passed through waivers unclaimed. The 26-year-old infielder had a brief stay in the majors last month and went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in three games.

DFA'd by Colorado Kaiser was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Sunday.
Impact Kaiser was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on June 22 and has now lost his spot on the 40-man roster. The 26-year-old played in three games during his brief taste of the majors and went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
JULY 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Sent back to Triple-A Kaiser was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.
Impact He was only up with the big club for a few days before getting a ticket back to Triple-A. Kaiser, 26, slashed .278/.376/.506 with seven home runs and six steals in 50 games in the Pacific Coast League.
JUNE 22, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Gets first MLB call-up The Rockies selected Kaiser's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
Impact The 26-year-old will reach the big leagues for the first time in his career, joining the Rockies' 26-man active roster to provide added depth in the infield while shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (personal) is on the paternity list. Colorado will most likely send Kaiser back to Triple-A on Friday, when Tovar presumably rejoins the team for the start of a homestand.
