Victor Bericoto - On bench for second straight Bericoto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Impact Bericoto will hit the bench for the second straight game while the Giants hand Turner Hill another start in left field. Though he appeared to be in good position to take on a full-time role after being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Bericoto has gone 2-for-12 with five strikeouts in three games following his return and looks like he'll have to settle for a timeshare in the corner outfield with Hill.

Connor Norby - Heading to bench Sunday Norby is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Impact Though he'll head to the bench Sunday, Norby looks to have emerged as the Rockies' preferred option at second base while Willi Castro has moved over to third base as a replacement for Kyle Karros (concussion). Adael Amador will cover the keystone in the series finale in San Francisco, but Norby occupied the position each of the previous four contests and went 1-for-10 with one double, four walks, one stolen base and one run.

TJ Rumfield - Receiving Sunday off Rumfield is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Impact Rumfield had just received a day of rest Tuesday, and the Giants are sending a right-handed (Blade Tidwell) to the mound Sunday, making the left-handed-hitting first baseman's absence from the lineup somewhat curious. The Rockies have yet to indicate that Rumfield is dealing with any sort of injury, so he may just be getting a chance to clear his head after going 3-for-21 over his last six contests. Troy Johnston will replace Rumfield at first base and will bat fifth.
