Tyler Kinley - Out with nerve injury Kinley hit the 15-day injured list with a right elbow ulnar nerve injury Sunday.

Impact Kinley has had an excellent start to the season, cruising to an 0.75 ERA in 24 innings of relief. The move was backdated to Thursday, meaning Kinley will be eligible to return June 24, but it's unclear if a minimum-length absence is in play. Chad Smith was recalled to take his place in the bullpen.

Kyle Tyler - Contract selected by Padres Tyler's contract was selected from Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.

Impact The Padres need a fresh bullpen arm after Saturday's doubleheader against the Rockies. Tyler is capable of going multiple innings and has a 3.31 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 19 strikeouts in 16.1 innings at Triple-A.
