Impact Moran has been a competent hitter throughout parts of five major-league seasons, but his lifetime 99 wRC+, the product of a .267/.329/.418 slash line, isn't good enough for a player who primarily plays first base. He does at least own an above-average 106 career wRC+ against righties, so it's possible he lands somewhere in a platoon role, but he won't be a particularly exciting option wherever he ends up.
