INJURIES

Activated, sent to Triple-A The Brewers reinstated Crow (forearm) from the 15-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Nashville.
Impact Milwaukee placed Crow on the shelf June 12 due to a mild flexor strain, but he's healthy again after he was able to complete two rehab starts with Nashville earlier this month. With no room for him in the big-league rotation at the moment, the 25-year-old righty will stick around at Triple-A and is expected to continue making regular starts for Nashville.
JULY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Facing hitters Tuesday Crow (forearm) will throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Impact It appears to be the first time Crow has faced hitters since he went down with a right flexor strain in mid-June. He should be ready for a rehab assignment soon. Crow's last appearance for the Brewers before getting hurt was in relief, but he could join the Triple-A Nashville rotation once activated from the 15-day injured list.
JUNE 30 • ROTOWIRE
Resuming mound work Crow (forearm) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact It appears to be the first time Crow has thrown off the bump since he suffered a mild right flexor strain earlier this month. Crow should be ready for a rehab assignment before long, but he might be sent to Triple-A Nashville rather than rejoin the big-league club once he's deemed ready for activation.
JUNE 23 • ROTOWIRE
Forearm strain deemed mild Crow said Sunday that an MRI on his right forearm revealed a mild flexor strain, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Milwaukee placed Crow on the 15-day injured list Friday, three days after he shifted to the bullpen and made a two-inning relief appearance in the Brewers' 7-5 loss to the Athletics. Crow still appears likely to miss more than the minimum amount of time, but since his injury is considered mild, he's expected to avoid a prolonged shutdown. The Brewers are likely still planning on developing the right-hander as a starter, so he could end up joining the rotation at Triple-A Nashville once he's activated from the IL.
JUNE 15 • ROTOWIRE
Lands on injured list The Brewers placed Crow on the 15-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Wednesday, with a right forearm flexor strain.
Impact Crow pitched two shutout innings during his last outing Tuesday against the A's, but he appears to have come away from his appearance with forearm problems. He'll be forced to miss at least the next two weeks as a result, and the Brewers will recall Craig Yoho from Triple-A Nashville to fill the open spot in their bullpen.
JUNE 12 • ROTOWIRE
Shifts to bullpen Crow permitted one hit and one walk over two scoreless innings of relief Tuesday in the Brewers' 7-5 loss to the Athletics.
Impact After he had made his first four big-league appearances as a starter, Crow shifted to the bullpen this week while Milwaukee elected to move forward with Robert Gasser and Shane Drohan as the back-end members of the five-man rotation. Though Crow fared well in his first relief outing, the Brewers aren't likely to pull the plug on developing him as a starter just yet. With that in mind, Crow could sent back to Triple-A Nashville in the near future so that he can continue working out of the rotation.

Schmitt homers on game's first pitch, Haase hit slam and Giants beat Brewers 12-9

Casey Schmitt homered on the game’s first pitch, Eric Haase hit the Giants’ fifth grand slam in a 17-game span as they opened a nine-run lead, and San Francisco beat the Milwaukee...
JUNE 4 • Associated Press
Season-worst start in first loss Crow (0-1) took the loss Thursday against the Giants, allowing six runs on nine hits and nine walks in 2.1 innings. He struck out two.
Impact Crow labored Thursday in what was his shortest outing of the year, giving up a trio of runs in the first and third innings. The nine hits and six runs allowed were both season-worst marks as well. Crow has an uninspiring 5.94 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB across 16.2 frames, and the expectation is that Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) will take his place in Milwaukee's rotation once healthy.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Making another start Thursday Crow is slated to start Thursday's game against the Giants at American Family Field.
Impact Crow will be awarded a second straight turn through the rotation after he took a no-decision in a four-inning start versus the Astros last Friday following his promotion from Triple-A Nashville. The 25-year-old righty has made three starts thus over three separate stints with Milwaukee, pitching to a 3.14 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB in 14.1 innings.

Goes four innings Friday Crow didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Astros, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks with one strikeout across four innings.
Impact With Logan Henderson (back) placed on the injured list earlier in the week, Crow got the promotion and made his third start of the season for Milwaukee. He wasn't particularly effective against Houston, generating five swinging strikes on 61 pitches while surrendering three extra-base hits, including a solo homer to Cam Smith. Crow has yet to throw more than 77 pitches in any of his three outings and now owns a 3.14 ERA and 8:3 K:BB across 14.1 big-league innings this season.

Turang's 10th-inning sacrifice fly lifts the Brewers past the Astros 5-4

Drawing start Friday Crow is slated to start Friday's game against the Astros in Houston, Sophia Minnaert of Brewers.tv reports.
Impact Milwaukee recalled Crow from Triple-A Nashville earlier Tuesday as the corresponding move to Logan Henderson landing on the 15-day injured list due to a low back strain. Crow will wind up taking Henderson's spot in the rotation in what will be the former's third start of the season with Milwaukee. The 25-year-old right-hander wasn't able to pick up a win in either of his first two starts, but he pitched effectively in road outings versus the Marlins and Twins, covering a combined 10.1 innings while striking out seven and yielding three runs on seven hits and one walk.

Recalled, could start Wednesday The Brewers recalled Crow from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.
Impact Milwaukee had optioned Crow to Nashville a week and a half ago, but he'll be eligible to rejoin the big club in fewer than 15 days after the Brewers placed Logan Henderson (back) on the injured list in a corresponding move. Since he had been on the same pitching schedule as Henderson, Crow is a logical choice to take over Henderson's turn in the rotation when it comes up again in Wednesday's series finale versus the Cardinals. Crow has previously made a pair of starts for Milwaukee this season, posting a 2.61 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 7:1 K:BB across 10.1 innings between the two outings.

Brewers' Logan Henderson goes on IL with lower back strain

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Logan Henderson has been placed on the injured list with a lower back strain

Optioned to Nashville The Brewers optioned Crow to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
Impact The Brewers won't need Crow's services beyond the spot start he made Friday, so they'll send him back to the minors in favor of Peter Strzelecki, who will provide extra bullpen depth. There's still a strong chance Crow will be promoted for future starts, however, as he owns a 2.61 ERA and 0.77 WHIP in 10.1 innings through two starts in the majors.

Takes no-decision Friday Crow didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 3-2 win over the Twins, allowing one earned run on three hits and zero walks while striking out three batters across five-plus inni...
Impact Crow excelled at limiting traffic against Minnesota, taking a no-hitter into the fifth inning. The lone blemish against him came after he gave up back-to-back singles to begin the sixth frame, enabling Brooks Lee to drive in a run while grounding into a double play. Crow now boasts a 2.61 ERA and 0.77 WHIP two starts into his MLB career, and although his outing Friday was likely just another spot start, he's done well enough in a Brewers uniform to remain in consideration for more starts in the future.

Recalled to start Friday's game The Brewers recalled Crow from Triple-A Nashville on Friday.
Impact Crow will be the starting pitcher in Friday's series opener in Minnesota. The rookie right-hander held his own in a spot start earlier this season, logging 5.1 innings while yielding two runs. It could be just another spot start for Crow, who has posted a 4.70 ERA and 34:13 K:BB over 30.2 innings this season with Nashville.
MAY 15 • ROTOWIRE
Sent down to Nashville The Brewers optioned Crow to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
Impact Crow fared well in his MLB debut against the Marlins on Friday, giving up two earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings. However, Kyle Harrison is expected to rejoin the Brewers' rotation next week, leaving no room for Crow. He'll now head back to Nashville and continue to work as organizational depth, but his strong first impression with the big club makes him a candidate to make additional spot starts later in the year.

Milwaukee's Mitchell doubles in the 10th in 7-5 win over Miami

Garrett Mitchell went 2 for 4 with three RBIs including a two-run double in the 10th inning and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Miami Marlins 7-5
APRIL 18 • Associated Press
Solid in debut Crow did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Marlins, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.
Impact Crow allowed runs in the fourth and sixth innings before departing with a lead, throwing an impressive 55 of 77 pitches for strikes in his major-league debut. While it was likely just a spot start for the 25-year-old with Kyle Harrison (knee/wrist) on track to return next week, he certainly made a case to remain in the mix if another need arises in the Brewers' rotation.
APRIL 18 • ROTOWIRE
Recalled ahead of MLB debut The Brewers recalled Crow from Triple-A Nashville on Friday.
Impact Crow is set to make his major-league debut with a start Friday in Miami. The 25-year-old missed most of 2023 and 2024 due to Tommy John surgery and a large portion of 2025 with a hip issue and a flexor strain. He's healthy now and was off to a nice start at Nashville, boasting 18:5 K:BB over 15.2 innings along with a 4.02 ERA. It could just be a spot start for Crow, as Kyle Harrison (knee/wrist) is expected to be ready to slot back into the Brewers' rotation next week.
