Impact Wilcox was sent down to Triple-A in early May and has since turned in a 5.03 ERA and 1.30 WHIP alongside a 24:6 K:BB over 19.2 innings. Despite his subpar performance, he'll return to the big leagues to replace Josh Simpson and add a fresh arm to the Mariners' bullpen.

In addition to bat-missing stuff in his mid-90s fastball and hard-biting slider, Wilcox excels at generating weak contact (55 percent groundball rate).
