Tomás Nido - Outrighted to Toledo Nido cleared waivers Friday and was sent outright to Triple-A Toledo.

Impact Nido played well in a small sample size during his time in Detroit, going 12-for-35 with two RBI and four runs scored in 11 games, but he'll ultimately end up back on the Triple-A roster as organizational depth. He could still return to the Tigers down the line if Dillon Dingler or Jake Rogers had to miss any amount of time.

José Urquidy - Completes bullpen Urquidy (elbow) completed a bullpen session Thursday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact Urquidy is working his way back from Tommy John surgery and isn't expected to be activated from the 60-day injured list until the second half of the season. Still, Urquidy has begun throwing bullpen sessions, which is a significant step in his recovery.

Alex Lange - Set to throw bullpen Lange (lat) is scheduled to complete a bullpen session Saturday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact Lange was shut down from throwing after experiencing upper-arm inflammation back in early April, but the issue seems to have subsided. The 29-year-old will likely have to complete multiple bullpen sessions before being cleared to face hitters and eventually going on a rehab assignment. He's recovering from a lat surgery he underwent in July.
