Impact Arroyo appears to be behind Jose Iglesias on the depth chart, as he's out of the lineup again Tuesday despite appearing to have a favorable matchup with lefty Bruce Zimmermann taking the mound for Baltimore. With Iglesias being ineligible for the postseason roster, however, Boston will likely look to get Arroyo a start or two later this week in order to get him back into the flow of things. The infielder has had just four at-bats since returning from the COVID-19 IL last Wednesday.

Arroyo has posted a career-high six home runs and 25 RBI in 53 games this season. Jack Lopez was optioned to Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move.
