Cranks fourth home run
Taylor went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and a walk in the 8-7 loss Sunday to the Padres.
Impact
After sitting the last two games with back tightness, Taylor slammed a three-run home run off Nick Ramirez in the sixth inning. The 30-year-old hadn't done much in the past week prior to Sunday besides picking up a pair of stolen bases. He is slashing .246/.387/.525 with four home runs, 12 RBI and 14 runs scored in 18 games this season.

Checks back into lineup
Taylor (back) will start at second base and bat fifth Sunday against the Padres.
Impact
He'll move back into the starting nine after lower-back tightness limited him to a bench role over the past three games. Taylor looked to be healthy when he entered Saturday's 5-4 win in the bottom of the sixth. He delivered a pinch-hit single and then proceeded to play the final three innings, seeing time in both center field and second base.

Needs another day
Taylor (back) will sit again Saturday against the Padres but may be able to return to the lineup Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Taylor was scratched from the lineup for Thursday's season opener due to lower-back tightness and remained on the bench Friday, but it doesn't sound as though he's in line for an extended absence. He owns a solid .817 OPS through 67 plate appearances this season, but the Dodgers have plenty of quality depth options to use in his place.

Taylor (back) isn't starting Friday's game against the Padres, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Taylor will be out of the lineup for a second straight game as he deals with lower-back tightness. Max Muncy will shift to second base while Edwin Rios starts at first base Friday.

Dealing with lower back tightness
Taylor was scratched from Thursday's lineup with lower back tightness, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Impact
There's no word on the seriousness of the injury, though Taylor will be forced to miss at least one game. Sheldon Neuse will take over at second base and bat seventh in Taylor's absence.

Swipes another bag
Taylor went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over Seattle.
Impact
Though he has gone a collective 0-for-5 over his past two games, Taylor has worked a pair of walks and converted those into two steals. The utility man's fantasy value is largely tied to his moderate power and production potential in a loaded Dodgers lineup, but his appeal will certainly increase if he continues to make waves on the basepaths.

Steals base in loss
Taylor went 0-for-2 with a stolen base, a walk and a hit by pitch in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.
Impact
Taylor walked to begin the fourth inning and wound up stealing second for his first stolen base of the season. The 30-year-old has topped 10 steals in a season just once in the first seven seasons of his career, so fantasy managers should keep expectations now for that part of his game. However, he's sitting on a solid .235/.381/.471 batting line, and after finishing with an OPS between .775 and .850 in each of the last four seasons, he should be expected to land around that level again this year.

Cranks third home run
Taylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss against the Padres.
Impact
Taylor started in center field where he's received most of his starts. His third homer of the season came off Blake Snell in the second inning, marking the only runs scored by the Dodgers Sunday. Taylor is striking out 30.2% of the time, but is still batting .245, which is enough to score 13 runs on the season for the Dodgers.

Goes deep Tuesday
Taylor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory over the Rockies.
Impact
The utility man played center field for the sixth time this season and hit out of the three spot. He followed a Corey Seager home run in the first inning with one of his own and also singled in the fourth. Taylor has gone 4-for-13 with a pair of homers and four RBI over his past three games.

Goes deep Saturday
Taylor went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 9-5 victory over Washington.
Impact
With both Mookie Betts (back) and Cody Bellinger (calf) still out of commission, Taylor manned center field and assumed the leadoff spot in the order for the third straight contest. The utility player did his best impression of his former-MVP teammates, ripping a three-run home run off Patrick Corbin in the second inning to help Los Angeles jump out to a big early lead. Taylor is once again proving invaluable to the club, slashing .273/.484/.500 with five RBI while logging time at four different positions in the early going.
