Joe Kelly - Reinstated from IL Kelly (biceps) was activated off the 10-day injured list Monday.
Impact Kelly will join the White Sox ahead of their three-game series against the Guardians on Monday. The right-hander had been nursing a biceps strain since last October, but after signing with the team in the offseason, he'll finally be available to make his debut for Chicago in the coming days. In 48 appearances with the Dodgers last season, Kelly produced a 2.86 ERA and 0.98 WHIP while striking out 50 batters over 44 innings.

Aaron Bummer - Hits injured list as expected Bummer (knee) was placed on the 15-day injured list as expected Monday.
Impact Bummer hadn't pitched since Friday, so the transaction can be backdated two days, leaving him eligible to return May 22. It's not entirely clear whether or not he'll be able to do so, especially with the White Sox now referring to his injury as a strain rather than merely soreness. Joe Kelly (biceps) returned from the injured list to take his place in the bullpen.

Yoán Moncada - Makes return from IL The White Sox reinstated Moncada (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Impact Chicago has yet to unveil its lineup ahead of Monday's series opener against the Guardians, but manager Tony La Russa said Sunday that Moncada would slot in as the White Sox's No. 2 hitter in his 2022 debut, per Daryl Van Schouwen. Moncada was given the green light to rejoin the White Sox following a productive six-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte in which he slashed .318/.360/.636 with two home runs and a double.

Jake Burger - Optioned to Triple-A Burger was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Impact Burger was moved to Triple-A as a result of Yoan Moncada (oblique) returning from the 10-day injured list Monday. The 26-year-old has produced a .239/.276/.352 slash line with two homers and seven RBI over 71 at-bats with the White Sox this season. It is likely he will return to the big-league club again at some point this summer.

Marcelo Mayer - Nearing return Mayer (wrist) is expected to return to game action sometime this week, Chris Hatfield of Sox Prospects reports.
Impact He has been sidelined with a sore wrist since April 23. Mayer hit .333/.397/.491 with one home run, three steals, a 9.5 BB% and a 27.0 K% in 63 plate appearances before suffering the injury.
