Impact Jimenez was hurt while running out a groundball Sunday and did not play in Monday's contest. Mike Clevinger - Signs with White Sox Clevinger agreed to a contract with the White Sox on Monday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Impact Chicago got in touch with Clevinger after trading Dylan Cease to the Padres, per Murray. The details of the contract are not yet known and the deal is pending a physical, but it appears a reunion is in place for Clevinger and the White Sox. The 33-year old right hander posted a 3.77 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 110:40 K:BB over 131.1 innings last season while going 9-9 over 24 starts with the White Sox last season.

Impact Between stops in Seattle and Colorado last season, Flexen turned in a 6.86 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 7.7 K-BB% across 102.1 innings. Despite those poor numbers, Flexen looks like he'll have plenty of leash in the White Sox rotation to begin the season, given the lack of attractive alternatives on the 40-man roster and on the farm. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week with a more favorable outing on tap this weekend in pitcher-friendly Kansas City, but the upcoming start against a powerful Atlanta offense should be reason enough for fantasy managers to steer clear of Flexen in avoidance of ratio damage.

Michael Soroka - Fails to impress in ChiSox debut Soroka didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Tigers, giving up four runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings. He failed to strike out a batter.
Impact The right-hander threw 77 pitches (44 strikes) before exiting the mound with a 6-4 lead, but Soroka was far from dominant and generated only three swinging strikes. The White Sox eventually lost the game 7-6 in 10 innings. The fact that Soroka was able to give Chicago a solid turn through the rotation is something of a minor miracle in itself, considering the litany of injuries that derailed his career following his breakout 2019 season with Atlanta, and even in that campaign he posted only a 20.3 percent strikeout rate to support his 2.68 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. Soroka has a long way to go to prove he can regain that form, however.
