Set to return next week Holt (hamstring) is expected to return from the injured list sometime in the early or middle part of next week, Sam Blum of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Holt has already missed the minimum 10 days with a left hamstring strain, and it doesn't look as though he'll miss too many more games. He posted a modest .672 OPS in 15 games before suffering the injury.

Impact The 32-year-old appeared to be withheld from Tuesday's lineup against the Twins since lefty J.A. Happ is on the mound, but it turns out he's also dealing with an injury. The severity of the strain remains unclear, and Holt will be eligible to be activated May 13. Charlie Culberson figures to seen increased playing time at third base in Holt's absence for the Rangers.
