Set to join major-league roster House is expected to be called up from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Monday's series opener versus the Rockies, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Impact House has been on a heater at Triple-A, batting .354 with three home runs, eight RBI and five runs scored over 12 games in June. The infielder is considered to be Washington's top hitting prospect and on the year, he owns a .304/.353/.519 slash line with 13 home runs over 65 contests with Rochester. Jose Tena was sent down to Triple-A Rochester after the Nationals' 3-1 loss to Miami on Sunday, clearing up playing time for House at third base with the major-league club, if that's the direction the team wants to go with the 22-year-old.

Set to join big club The Nationals are expected to call up House from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Monday's series opener versus the Rockies, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Impact House has been on a heater at Triple-A, batting .365 with three home runs over 12 games in June. The 22-year-old is widely viewed as one of Washington's top hitting prospects, and on the season, he owns a .304/.353/.519 slash line with 13 home runs in 65 contests with Rochester. Jose Tena was sent down to Triple-A after the Nationals' 3-1 loss to Miami on Sunday, clearing the way for House to begin his time in the big leagues as the team's primary option at third base. House may need to get off to a good start with Washington to hold off Amed Rosario and Paul DeJong (orbital) for playing time at the hot corner over the balance of the season.
JUNE 15 • ROTOWIRE
Pushing for promotion House could make his major-league debut sooner rather than later, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
Impact After launching another homer Thursday for Triple-A Rochester, House is slashing .325/.367/.651 over his last 20 games with seven homers and 18 RBI, and more importantly, he has a 21.1 percent strikeout rate, a big step up from the 27.8 percent mark he posted through his first 37 games this season. The Nationals have gotten just two homers all season from their third baseman -- only the Cubs have fewer with zero -- and if House can carry his Triple-A momentum with him to the 26-man roster once he does get promoted, he could provide a big upgrade on the likes Jose Tena, Amed Rosario and Paul DeJong (orbital). James Wood was promoted July 1 of last season, and the organization could consider a similar timeline for House's debut.

MAY 30 • DISPATCH.COM
Strong start at Triple-A House went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI for Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.
Impact The 21-year-old third is more than holding his own in his second crack at Triple-A. Through 42 games this season for Rochester, House is slashing .282/.344/.497 with eight homers, and he's more than doubled his walk rate from 3.0 percent in 2024 to 8.3 percent. The Nationals have struggled to find a solution at the hot corner in the majors, and with House needing to be added to the 40-man roster this coming offseason anyway, a big-league debut in the second half isn't off the table.

Brady House is ready to make a statement for the Red Wings Third baseman Brady House is the Washington Nationals' No. 4 prospect in the rankings of both MLB.com and Baseball America.
MARCH 27 • DEMOCRATANDCHRONICLE.COM
Reassigned to minors camp The Nationals reassigned House to minor-league camp Wednesday, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.
Impact House didn't get a ton of looks this spring but fared well when he played, going 7-for-21 with a 4:4 K:BB. The 21-year-old is highly thought of as a prospect but still needs seasoning in the minors after slashing just .241/.297/.402 with a 26.4 percent strikeout rate between Double-A Harrisburg and Rochester in 2024.

Nets spring invite The Nationals have extended House an invitation to big-league camp during spring training, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.
Impact House's 2024 season qualified as a disappointment, as he slashed just .241/.297/.402 with 19 home runs and a 26.4 percent strikeout rate between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. He was young for each level, though, particularly at Triple-A, given that he won't turn 22 until June. The Nationals don't have much blocking House at third base, so he could debut sooner rather than later if he can make some strides in 2025. Jarlin Susana is another one of the Nationals' top prospects to earn an invitation to big-league camp.
JANUARY 23 • ROTOWIRE
Could make debut in second half House could take over as the Nationals' starting third baseman before the end of the season, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
Impact Washington is currently deploying Trey Lipscomb at the hot corner, but the 24-year-old has just a .565 OPS through his first 159 big-league plate appearances and is likely a utility player in the long run. House is viewed as the organization's third baseman of the future, and a promotion to Triple-A Rochester in early July puts him one step away from the majors. He's gone 4-for-12 with two doubles to begin his Triple-A tenure, and if he holds his own in the International League, a promotion to the Nats' big-league roster some time in the second half seems very plausible. Even in the best-case scenario, House's call-up probably wouldn't occur until late August in order to keep his rookie status intact for 2025.
JULY 18, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gets bump to Triple-A The Nationals promoted House from Double-A Harrisburg to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday.
Impact House will get his first taste of the Triple-A level and should take over as Rochester's everyday third baseman after the Nationals called up Trey Lipscomb on Saturday to replace Nick Senzel -- who was designated for assignment -- as the primary option at the hot corner. Though he may not get a call to the majors before the season ends, House is likely viewed as the organization's long-term answer at third base over Lipscomb, who lacks the ideal power-hitting profile for the position. House, meanwhile, hit a modest .234 over his 306 plate appearances with Harrisburg, but he showcased plenty of pop (13 home runs, .189 ISO) while striking out at a manageable 24.5 percent clip.
JULY 7, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Promoted to Double-A House was promoted to Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Impact House dropped off a lot of top-100 prospect lists following a somewhat underwhelming showing in Low-A ball last year, but he broke through to High-A Wilmington last month and is now making a swift leap to the Nationals' Double-A affiliate. The 20-year-old third baseman carries a shiny .304/.369/.512 overall minor-league batting line through 226 plate appearances this season.
JULY 18, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Two hits in High-A debut House went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored Saturday in his first game for High-A Wilmington.
Impact The 20-year-old earned a promotion by slashing .280/.352/.476 through 37 games at Single-A Fredericksburg, improving both his strikeout and walks rates from the year before at the same level. House is a key part of the Nationals' rebuild, and while he isn't being fast-tracked to the majors, the 2021 first-round pick could start knocking on the door late in 2024 if he stays healthy.
