T.J. Zeuch - DFA'd by Toronto Zeuch was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Impact Zeuch has been in the minors since mid-June and has now lost his spot on the 40-man roster. The 25-year-old should remain at Triple-A Buffalo if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Impact The young righty was expected to start Wednesday's series finale, but Garrett Richards will instead take the mound after Tuesday's contest was postponed. Houck should start again at some point for the Red Sox this season, though for now it appears he'll continue working out of the bullpen.

Anthony Kay - Optioned to Triple-A Kay was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

Impact Kay will head back to Triple-A after allowing five runs in Monday's blowout loss to Boston. While the shaky outing inflated the southpaws ERA to 5.61, he still figures to be a candidate to rejoin the Toronto bullpen when the club becomes in need of another arm.

Alejandro Kirk - Reinstated, optioned to Triple-A Kirk (hip) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday and optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.

Impact Kirk began a rehab assignment with Buffalo in late June and has gone 11-for-45 with a homer, two doubles and six RBI. With Reese McGuire and Danny Jansen currently handling the big-league catching duties, Kirk will remain in Triple-A for the time being.
