Richard Fitts - Activated, starting in Milwaukee The Red Sox reinstated Fitts (pectoral) from the 15-day injured list, and he will start Tuesday's game against the Brewers.
Impact The right-hander was originally expected to make his second minor-league rehab start Tuesday, but he'll instead re-enter Boston's rotation after a six-week absence due to a pectoral strain. Fitts threw 38 pitches across three innings during his lone rehab appearance, so he'll likely have some workload limitations in his first couple outings back in the majors. He made three starts prior to the injury and had a 3.18 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 13:5 K:BB over 17 innings.

Jorge Juan - Inks deal with Sox The Red Sox signed Juan to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Impact He will report to Double-A Portland. Juan, 26, was released by Atlanta in May after struggling mightily with his control (11:6 K:BB in six innings) in the minors.

Zach Penrod - Activated, optioned to WooSox Penrod (elbow) was activated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday and optioned to Triple-A Worcester, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Impact Penrod opened the year on the IL with a left elbow UCL sprain and he was activated after one scoreless rehab appearance Saturday in the Florida Complex League. The 27-year-old lefty will knock some rust off at Triple-A before potentially being an option in the majors later this summer.
