Victor Reyes - Triples twice Reyes went 2-for-4 with a pair of triples, three RBI and one run scored during Thursday's win over Boston.
Impact Despite notching only one triple coming into Thursday's contest, Reyes made his way to third twice, becoming the first Tigers player with two triples in a game since Ian Kinsler on July 17th, 2017. Across 38 games this season, the 26-year-old is averaging just .194/.221/.343.

Martín Pérez - Lifted early in loss Perez (7-8) was charged with the loss Thursday against the Tigers after surrendering three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out two across 1.1 innings.
Impact After giving up a solo home run to Robbie Grossman in the first, Perez never fully recovered, leaving with the bases loaded while facing a 2-0 deficit. The outing was his shortest of the season. The southpaw has now made nine starts of four innings or fewer, which is the most in the American League while tying for the most in the majors. Meanwhile, across his last five starts, Perez has surrendered eight home runs, raising his ERA to 4.77 and WHIP to 1.52. The 30-year-old is projected to take the mound again next week against Tampa Bay.

Tarik Skubal - Tosses five scoreless Skubal (7-10) earned the win Thursday after blanking the Red Sox across five innings. He allowed five hits and a walk while striking out four.
Impact Despite some sloppy defensive plays for Skubal, he managed to hold things together while blanking an opponent for just the third time this season. The 24-year-old seemed to put his long-ball heavy woes behind him Thursday after surrendering eight homers across his four previous starts. Skubal will carry an improved 4.32 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into his next projected matchup Wednesday at Baltimore.
