Impact Leeper was bumped up to Double-A Tennessee three days later and has struck out four batters over three scoreless innings across two appearances with the affiliate. Before joining Tennessee, Leeper had made seven rehab appearances between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and South Bend, recording 11 punchouts while allowing three earned runs in 8.1 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander looks to have made a strong recovery from the third Tommy John surgery of his career, which he underwent in April 2023.
