Jackson Holliday - Rejoins club, but not activated yet Holliday (hand) is with the Orioles in Tampa Bay on Monday but has not yet been activated from the 10-day injured list, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Holliday looks to be done with his rehab assignment after multiple starts and stops, but the Orioles will wait until at least Tuesday to activate him for his season debut. The 22-year-old is coming back from right hamate surgery, which he had in mid-February. Holliday went 4-for-17 with one home run and a 3:7 BB:K in his last five rehab games at Triple-A Norfolk.

Keibert Ruiz - Resting up Monday Ruiz is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.
Impact After starting behind the dish in the Nationals' final two games of the weekend, Ruiz will get a break while Washington opens a four-game set versus New York. Drew Millas will handle the catching duties Monday.

Nasim Nuñez - Moving to bench Monday Nunez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.
Impact Nunez has remained a fantasy asset with a National League-best 19 steals in 21 attempts on the season, but his lack of production at the plate may be starting to cost him some playing time. He'll head to the bench for the second time in four games while he's mustered a lowly .162/.289/.216 slash line since the beginning of May.

Michael Siani - Goes to Baltimore via waivers The Orioles claimed Siani off waivers from the Dodgers on Monday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Siani has spent all of the 2026 campaign at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's slashed .225/.355/.303 with no home runs, five steals and a 17:30 BB:K over 29 games. The 26-year-old will give the Orioles some additional experienced outfield depth at Triple-A Norfolk.

Jose Espada - Pushed off 40-man roster The Orioles designated Espada for assignment Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Impact The righty reliever will give up his spot on Baltimore's 40-man roster to outfielder Michael Siani, whom the Orioles claimed off waivers from the Dodgers. Espada has made just one appearance at the big-league level in 2026 and struggled over 15.1 innings between Triple-A Norfolk and Double-A Chesapeake, pitching to a 5.87 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 10:13 K:BB.
