Alex Cobb - Bounces back in big way Cobb (5-2) allowed five hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over 7.2 shutout innings to earn the win Saturday over the Orioles.
Impact Cobb was lit up for seven runs over four innings against the Brewers his last time out, but he responded with his fourth scoreless outing of the season. He's gone at least seven innings in each of those stellar starts. This was also the first time in his last six appearances that he didn't walk a batter. Cobb is at a 2.71 ERA despite a 1.32 WHIP and 64:18 K:BB over 69.2 innings. The right-hander is set to face a tough test in his next start, which is projected to be in Colorado next week.

Kyle Bradish - No help in Saturday's loss Bradish (2-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Giants.
Impact Bradish gave up all three runs in the third inning and exited after 79 pitches (53 strikes). His offense gave him no help, as the Orioles mustered only five hits in the contest. This was Bradish's shortest start since the beginning of May -- he was able to limit opponents to one run in three of his five outings last month. He's at a solid 4.13 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 41:15 K:BB through 48 innings across 10 starts overall. The right-hander is projected for a favorable home start versus the Royals next week.

Impact While Hyde believes that Henderson will be fine, the manager also noted that the back discomfort has been a lingering issue in recent days. Henderson should be considered day-to-day, and fantasy GMs will want to keep an eye on whether the rookie infielder is back in the lineup for Sunday's finale against San Francisco.
